Beverly Ayers-Nachamkin

My winding road has taken me from my native Oregon through residence in Kansas, Canada, New Mexico, and finally Pennsylvania. At various times I have been a stay-at-home Mom, graduate student, single parent, and professor. I retired from Wilson College for women in May, 2012, after 30 years of teaching Social Psychology and Women’s Studies. Connie, my partner for nearly 22 years, and I moved to Carlisle in October, 2013, to be closer to our children and grandchildren. Indeed, I am very grateful that my road has led me to this warm and loving UUCV community. I am currently serving on the Membership Committee, the Coordinating Team for Small Group Ministry and am an enthusiastic member of the UUCV book group.
