Purpose:  We provide short-term relief for caregivers, meals for members in need, arrange for rides to appointments, to church, and to Memorial Receptions.  Most of all we are available to listen and provide support.

 

Responsibilities:

Communication – We visit and contact shut-in congregants and send cards of congratulation, get well, and sympathy when needed.

Information – CCC has information on community services and other resources you might find helpful; aging, care giving, end of life issues.  There is a CCC Information Bookcase in the Library.

Medical Equipment – Can provide a list of medical equipment available for loan; wheelchairs, walkers, canes and bedside commodes, etc.

Memorial Services – With help from the bereaved family CCC will organize receptions after Memorial Services.

 

Meeting date:  Quarterly on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 12:00 noon in the Yuuth room at UUCV
