General Information

Religious Education (RE) is provided each week with the goal of nurturing our children in community and spiritual development. Children of all ages engage in an appropriate level of religious exploration through curricula and activities designed to support their spiritual development. They expand their identities as moral and spiritual thinkers, and develop their skills in decision making and peaceful living with others and their environment.

At 10:30 am children and youth are invited to attend the beginning portion of the service in the main sanctuary before proceeding with designated adults to their respective classrooms. Religious education classes end when the service ends at 11:30. While middle and high school students will make their own way up to the social hall afterwards for refreshments and conversation, we do ask that families with younger children go downstairs to pick up their children. We do require registration in order to provide all children with a safe and well-planned experience.

Nursery care is also provided for children four and under. Older children must attend the appropriate level of RE class in order to ensure the safety of our littlest children. A nursery caregiver is present downstairs in the nursery beginning at 10:15 and ending immediately after the service. For the safety of the children in our care we ask that all parents sign their children in and out when they visit the nursery, and that first-time visitors fill out a brief registration form.
