The Worship Theme for May is “Being Human”

May 6: “When Everyone Means Everyone” Jesus said to love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you. What does that even look like in the 21st Century? Does that even apply?  Christin Kapp preaching with worship associate Rachel Teates.  Music Director David M. Glasgow provides service music.

May 13: “”Mama’s Day” A multicultural Celebration of Mothers and Families. As part of our Mother’s Day observance, we will participate in a Flower Ceremony. Please bring flowers in honor of your mothers and mamas.  Rev. Dr. Kathy Ellis preaching with worship associate Molly Wilkinson.  Music Director David M. Glasgow provides service music, and the choir sings music of Sara Bareilles.

May 20: “What Does it Mean to be Human” We will discuss some Universalist and Unitarian answers to that big question.  Rev. Dr. Kathy Ellis preaching with worship associate Julie Ham.  Carole Knisely provides service music.

 

May 27: “Inherent Worth and Dignity” We consider Unitarian Universalism’s first principle and the radical foundation of Universalism. Rev. Dr. Kathy Ellis preaching with worship associate Rachel Teates.  Pat Spader offers a prelude, Music Director David M. Glasgow provides service music, and the choir sings music of Elizabeth Alexander.
