Moe grew up in suburban Boston and rural New Hampshire. He and his wife, Betsy, moved to Carlisle in 2015, to be nearer kids, and to escape winter Nor’Easters which plague coastal MA. Moe is retired after a career selling industrial instruments.
Moe has been a UU for 30 odd years (some odder than others), and was raised in the Roman Catholic church. He has served boards in two churches and the Ballou-Channing District of the UUA.
Moe and Betsy provided special needs foster care for many years, and they have 2 foster daughters as well as 2 grown children, one “almost grown” 17 year old and 2.9 grand children (daughter Kate is due any minute now).
